STAFF OF NORTH EAST CARE HOME PREPARE FOR A CHILLY DIP

Staff of Hillcrest Care Home in Jarrow, South Tyneside are busy arranging a North Sea Dip to raise money for their residents fund.
The event taking place on Sunday 27th November will see carers, management and even an Operations Director taking the plunge in the icy cold winter waves in order to raise money towards their residents fund.
Ops Director Lynn Bell commented, "The residents fund does not increase on it's own. The dedication of the staff and support from the local community all help to raise the much needed funds for our residents."
"The residents fund pays for all of the activities and entertainment that takes place at Hillcrest Care Home; something we are constantly trying to keep on top of."
Residents at the Jarrow Care Home have input into what they would like to see going on in the home with regular meetings with family and friends.
Lynn added, "We are always looking for new ideas and we welcome anyone that would like to take part on the day."
